Mrs. Lim, Singapore, 81 years old
A picture can tell a thousand stories.
But you would not be able to tell from a photograph; Mrs. Lim is 81 years old. She is also a survivor of stage-4 cancer.
Her experience with ECCT: Mrs. Lim was diagnosed with lymphatic carcinoma in Singapore in the year 2013. Her cancer had already spread to her lung by the time she was diagnosed. She was 73 years old at the time of her diagnosis, and due to her advanced age, therapeutic choices were limited.
Mrs. Lim chose ECCT as her cancer treatment. She had heard that ECCT was one of her few remaining treatment options, and she was ready to battle. After therapy, she went into remission and has been cancer-free for almost five years.
