Male,47, Malaysia, Singaporean. At the end of Sept 2023, life took an unexpected turn when I was diagnosed with Nasopharyngeal Cancer at stage 4, which had also spread to my cervical spine area. It was a challenging moment and after consulting multiple oncologists, the treatment plan prescribed was 6 cycles of chemotherapy followed by radiation therapy. I started my Cancer Treatment for Nasopharyngeal with chemotherapy treatment at the beginning of Oct 2023. It was during this period I went on to research and find out more about other forms of cancer treatment, and discovered electric field treatment for tumours, and more specifically ECCT.

From the very start of my chemotherapy, I incorporated ECCT into my routine. This decision transformed my treatment experience in ways I hadn't imagined. As I complete the 3rd cycle out of the planned 6 cycles of chemotherapy, the results from my PET Scan following the 3rd cycle brought a wave of hope. The scans revealed more than a 50% reduction in tumour size and an incredible 70% reduction in tumour intensity. Some has completely unseen!

What truly sets my journey apart is the quality of life I've been able to maintain. Despite the initial expectations of side effects such as hair loss, weight loss, nausea, and loss of appetite, I've found that these effects have been remarkably minimized with the inclusion of ECCT in my regimen. In fact, I've even managed to gain some weight! My blood test report before each chemotherapy session have confirmed that all the vital statistics regarding my liver, kidney and blood have been within the optimal range.

Sure, there have been moments of post-chemotherapy nausea and fatigue, but these symptoms have been transient, dissipating within 48 hours. I've been able to run my routine, take care of my young children, cooking, outing, socialize, enjoy dinners with friends, and even take a short vacation without feeling overwhelmingly debilitated.
