Ani's Triumph: ECCT Cancer Treatment for Conceiving Mother 用ECCT战胜癌症并迎接母亲身份

Ani faced the daunting challenge of battling cancer while yearning to start a family. In 2018, her diagnosis revealed a 1.5 cm lump, prompting recommendations to halt her five-year-long pregnancy program due to the malignancy and the potential need for breast and uterine removal—permanently affecting her ability to conceive.

However, she feels reluctant as it it’s her family dream to have child and has been planning for long. She looks for cancer treatment for conceiving mother for any possibilities and eventually encountered with ECCT as an alternative to the traditional treatment, enabling cancer therapy without the necessity of undergoing invasive surgeries. Ani opted for ECCT, pausing her pregnancy program supported by hormone injections.

Initially, during the first year of ECCT usage, progress seemed elusive. The disease remained stable, neither regressed nor progressed significantly, potentially due to residual effects from previous hormone injections in the body.

It wasn't until early 2022 that the lump in her breast began shrinking, eventually reducing to 0.5 cm. The good news was welcomed by the unexpected expecting in mid-May of 2022.

Ani tested positive for a natural pregnancy, despite discontinuing the pregnancy program for years! Her pregnancy progressed without complications, culminating in a normal birth. She continued her ECCT treatment during her pregnancy and breastfeeding till today. However, she does not have a scan avoiding radiation scan till later stage. By November 2023, her child would be seven months old, marking a significant milestone—five years survival since her initial diagnosis.
